5. Service Delivery & Fulfilment
Brokerage & Coordination Services
For freight brokerage, same-day courier, and pallet network bookings, service fulfilment begins upon written confirmation of the booking. We will source and confirm a suitable carrier within the agreed timeframe, provide tracking information where available, and deliver proof of delivery (POD) documentation upon completion.
Transport Management & Retainers
Ongoing transport management services are delivered on a continuous basis according to the agreed service scope. Monthly reporting is provided at the end of each billing period.
Consulting & 3PL Services
Project-based consulting work is delivered in stages as agreed in the project scope. Estimated delivery timelines will be confirmed in the written agreement prior to commencement.
Carrier Responsibility
SB Direct Ltd acts as a broker and is not the carrier. Physical collection, transit, and delivery are the responsibility of the third-party carrier booked on your behalf. We will use reasonable efforts to select vetted and reliable carriers, but we are not liable for carrier delays, damage in transit, or carrier insolvency unless caused directly by our negligence.
Delivery Timelines
- Same-day services: collection and delivery within the working day (subject to distance and carrier availability).
- Next-day pallet/parcel: delivery within 1 business day of collection.
- Economy freight: timelines confirmed at booking.
- Consulting projects: timelines set in the agreed project scope.
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation Before Work Commences
- Within 24 hours of booking confirmation: Cancellation is free of charge. Any payments made will be refunded in full within 5 business days.
- After 24 hours and before work commences: Cancellation is accepted. A refund will be issued for the full amount paid, minus any costs already incurred on your behalf (e.g., carrier booking fees, administrative costs). We will provide a written breakdown of any deductions.
Cancellation After Work Has Commenced
Once a service has commenced (e.g., a carrier has been dispatched, a shipment is in transit, or consulting work has begun), cancellation is handled on a case-by-case basis. A proportional refund may be issued for work not yet completed, at our reasonable discretion. Any costs already committed to third-party carriers or partners cannot be refunded.
Non-Refundable Situations
- Services fully completed and delivered as agreed.
- Third-party carrier costs where the carrier has already been dispatched and cannot cancel.
- Retainer fees for the current billing period where services have been actively provided.
How to Request a Cancellation or Refund
To cancel a booking or request a refund, contact us in writing at [email protected] with your booking reference and the reason for cancellation. We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and aim to resolve it within 5 business days.
7. Liability

- We are not liable for loss or damage to goods in transit caused by third-party carriers. Clients are advised to arrange appropriate cargo insurance.

- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to lost profits, missed delivery deadlines caused by carrier delays, or business interruption.
